Producing films around the world stopped from mid-March due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Now, as the situation eases the film industry is restarting working.
Gavin Newsom, the governor of the California, was supposed to issue guidelines for film production in May; but the announcement was delayed.
Newsom’s recent guidelines read “to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission, productions, cast, crew and other industry workers should abide by safety protocols agreed by labor and management, which may be further enhanced by county public health officers”.
‘Mission: Impossible 7’ starring Tom Cruise is one of the projects which has previously been scheduled to start filming in Italy, but was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
